GODSENT TRIUMPHS IN A SPECTACULAR SVENSKA RAKETLIGAN FINAL

Jönköping, Sweden – December 7, 2024

GODSENT emerged victorious in the grand finals of the Svenska Raketligan (SRL) autumn season, held at the iconic Gro36 venue in Jönköping. In a thrilling showdown against Quick Esports, our team demonstrated skill, resilience, and tactical brilliance, securing the championship title and claiming the lion’s share of the impressive 35,000 SEK prize pool.

A Historic Win for GODSENT

This victory marks a significant milestone for GODSENT’s Rocket League division, with a new team for the season which we proudly welcomed into our organization earlier this autumn. Last season our team ended on third spot in the league, and this year is our first win.

Since picking up the team, we’ve been committed to providing them with the resources and support needed to elevate their performance to the highest level. Their journey through the SRL season has been nothing short of spectacular, with dominant performances, clutch plays, and unwavering team synergy that culminated in this well-deserved triumph.

“We knew the potential this team had when we brought them on board,” said Ludwig Sandgren, CEO, “and watching them lift the trophy today proves that with the right support and dedication, we can achieve greatness together.”

What is Svenska Raketligan?

Svenska Raketligan is Sweden’s premier domestic Rocket League competition, featuring the country’s top teams battling for supremacy across multiple seasons. The league provides a crucial platform for Swedish Rocket League talent to showcase their skills, compete for substantial prize pools, and gain recognition on both the national and international stage. SRL has grown rapidly in recent years, becoming a key proving ground for up-and-coming teams aiming to break into the broader European esports scene.

Rocket League – A Thrilling Blend of Speed and Strategy

Rocket League, developed by Psyonix, is an exhilarating fusion of soccer and high-octane vehicular action. Teams of three players compete to outmaneuver and outscore their opponents in rocket-powered cars, executing gravity-defying aerials, tactical rotations, and precision teamwork. Since its launch in 2015, the game has become a global esports phenomenon, attracting millions of players and fans worldwide, with an ever-expanding competitive ecosystem that includes regional leagues like SRL, as well as global tournaments such as the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

Looking Ahead – What’s Next for GODSENT?

With this monumental win in the books, GODSENT’s Rocket League squad is already setting its sights on future challenges. Next up is another domestic tournament, the Swedish Championship (SM). The victory in SRL not only cements our position as a dominant force in Swedish Rocket League but also serves as a stepping stone towards greater ambitions, including competing on the international stage in upcoming tournaments.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our RL fans for their support throughout the season. Stay tuned to our channels for more updates on upcoming matches and tournaments.
