OUR LEGACY IN COUNTER-STRIKE

In 2025, Counter-Strike will celebrate its 25th anniversary, and since its inception, CS has been an incredibly important title in both global and Swedish esports. We often say that CS is Sweden’s national esport.

Godsent is the second most successful Swedish CS organization in history—only NIP surpasses us. Since 2016, we have earned seven million SEK in prize money, secured international trophies, signed approximately 50 historic international players, including legends like Taco and Brollan, alongside several other top Swedish players, created a world-class academy, competed in three Majors, and built an internationally renowned brand that is one of the coolest and most unique in the world.

Throughout our history, we have taken several different rosters from being unranked to breaking into the top 20 globally, and we have sold multiple teams to other major organizations. Our all-time highest rank is #3 in the world.

Although we haven’t yet reached the coveted number one spot, we have much to be proud of—and we are just getting started.

OWNERSHIP

Godsent AB was founded by Ludwig Sandgren who to this day remains Chairman and CEO of the company and is its biggest shareholder. He has been joined in his venture by a group of over 80 shareholder that has invested into the company at different times during the company’s history.

Godsent also has 150 fan shareholders that own a minority share through the holding company “Godsent Owned by Fans AB”.
